Kevin joined Buiten & Associates in 2004 as Vice-President of Group Benefits and manages the Employee Benefits Department. Prior to joining Buiten, Kevin owned an employee benefits agency. As a licensed insurance counselor in health & life insurance, Kevin is results-oriented and provides solutions to help employers attract and retain quality employees. Kevin earned his Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) designations from the American College and has his Accident and Health Insurance Counselor license. Kevin is also a Past President of the West Michigan Association of Health Underwriters.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Cornerstone University, a Master of Divinity degree from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and a Doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Loyola University Chicago. Kevin spends most of his time keeping up with activities of his grandson and four daughters. However, in his spare time, Kevin enjoys relaxing with his wife, traveling, and participating in just about any sporting activity (especially golf and tennis). Kevin is also actively involved in his church, and enjoys a hearty theological conversation.
