Laura joined Buiten & Associates, LLC in 2010 as an account manager with 32 years of industry experience, serving middle market commercial lines accounts. Prior to joining Buiten, she was an account executive at Hub International, an account manager with Grand Rapids Holland Insurance, an underwriter at Firemen’s Fund and a property rating supervisor with the Hartford Insurance Company. Her prior experience includes working in commercial lines sales, rating, underwriting and marketing.

Laura attended Davenport College, graduated from the Hartford School of Insurance and is a licensed Insurance Agent. Laura has earned designations of Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). Laura enjoys time with her family including her 5 grandchildren. Her escapes include time on the water, painting and walking through vineyards.
