Jean joined the Buiten & Associates in October 1983 as a personal lines service representative and has served in many roles during her tenure. Her current positions include personnel manager, personal lines manager and commercial lines account manager. Prior to joining Buiten, she worked at the Home Insurance Company and Charles F. Harrison Agency.

Jean attended Grand Rapids Community College. She is a licensed insurance agent and has earned the designation Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)

Jean is originally from Pennsylvania. Her family has since moved to Florida where she enjoys visiting. In addition to visiting family, she also enjoys cruising, walking and visiting wineries.
